An Island Retreat near Zadar
There are Croatian islands with only two letters in their name. So it is the island Iž (pronunciation of ž is like s in the word “treasure”). This island is famous for its magical place “Hotel Korinjak”, wich has become a kind of pilgrimage since more than 15 years, for people from all over the world looking for yoga, sprituality, dance and many other workshops, including excellent vegetarian-vegan food prepared consciously.

Accommodation and Food:
It is possible to book single or double rooms in the vegan/vegetarian hotel, each with private bath and balcony. Many people experience the location of the hotel as a powerful point so it was build with an intention to offer holistic and self developing treatments. All accommodations have a nice view to the sea or trees. The sea and the beach is reachable just few steps from the hotel. There are indoor and outdoor yoga space, dining terrace and a famous pyramid. In the hotel you can participate in a Gong Sound Bath daily. There is the possibility to book additional wellness treatments like massages and other therapies.




Yogateacher and Yoga Program during the Retreat:
Lea Lončar came in contact with yoga in the 80ies and it was mostly about spiritual journey of self-discovery. Her Yoga study included various yoga styles and traditions (Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Integral, Sivananda, Tibetan (Lu Jong) and Therapeutic yoga), mainly in India, USA, and Europe. She studied with yogis such as Swami Satchidananda, Swami Ramananda, K. Pattabhi Jois and his family, Tulku Lobsang Rimpoche, Doug Swenson, to name a few. Her approach to yoga is influenced by Buddhist Vipassana meditation, Kashmir Shaivism, modern research in neuroscience and psychology and vegan culture. Lea is a founder of the Scandinavian yoga centre “Zenit Yoga” in Trondheim, Norway and has been working on yoga research for decades. At the moment she is writing a PhD on trauma at Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU.
During this divine retreat you´ll start your day with meditation, kriyas (cleansing), and yoga practice at the shala, followed by a nourishing breakfast. You will have a chance to experience individual approach with yoga coaching to reflect upon your questions.
The afternoon presents the perfect time for a nap in the forest by the beach, sunbathing, swimming or exploring the local village… or you can just relax enjoying a massage, gong bath or fresh herbal tea. A nutrient-rich dinner rounds up the day, with some relaxing evening conversations, songs, meditation or relaxation.
