It´s about yoga, adventure, philosophy, meditation and sport activities, even if you didn´t do sports very much before. It´s being together, but also having time on your own if you like. During this retreat you can learn about the yoga of the five elements, practiced mostly in an outdoor shala, you´ll have nourishing vegetarian-vegan meals daily and visit some of the best Istrian restaurants with locally sourced food. There will be longer daily tours and exploration of the Istrian peninsula, with some of the most beautiful towns and villages.

Accommodation and Food:
A family guesthouse open to tourists has been transformed to a yoga retreat since 2010, offering a peaceful stay for yoga interested travelers and visitors. The retreat house offers accommodation to suit every need: from single and double rooms for couples or friends to fully equipped apartments with a kitchen and private balcony. There is a zen garden for socializing or eating togheter with an outdoor kitchen and dining area. Outdoor yoga shala space is inviting for the yoga of the five elements, ashtanga or yin yoga, as well meditation program or lectures offered by the retreat co-founders Marin and Natali.
Yogateachers, Yoga and Program During the Retreat:
Marin Vayu has been studying and teaching yoga and meditation for more than 20 years. For many years he worked as a windsurfing instructor and adventure tour guide. One meditation specifically transformed his life completely taking him on a spiritual journey. For many years he was traveling the world exploring and deepening his spiritual knowledge of the Five Elements through his own experiences, meditations, contemplations, and insights.
The fruit of that dedication were two books, published in Croatian and English. His yoga and meditation classes are the teachings of the Five Elements.
Natali Podnar found her first passion in modelling, beauty and fashion industry, shooting covers. During that time she realized that it was a wish to express her creativity, liveliness of motion, and stillness at the same time. And that she can do that everywhere with anything. Natali is an experienced yogateacher and a physiotherapist, combining yoga and especially the thai massage wich is one of the most supportive massages for yoga practitioners. Natali teaches Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga.
Daily program starts with yoga. After abundant brunch there is a take out with a van, with all the sports equipment (kayaks, bikes, SUP). There will also be hiking and windsurfing. In the afternoon hours you can visit some of the exceptional local restaurants. Evenings are free to explore the streets of Rovinj, or the group can gather around the fire and share impressions of the day.

- Dinner: Note you always have a big brunch and late lunch.
Some guests prefer to visit the town for dinner, or you can make dinner in the Zen garden outdoor kitchen. All guests will have access to the common kitchen. Some apartments have a private kitchen. However, most of the guests do not have dinner or just some snacks, because of the late lunch.
