Enjoy this classical yoga retreat with two yoga classes daily, pranayama, meditation and walking in the beautiful scenery of the island Vis, in the middle of the Adriatic Sea. In this retreat you´ll feel energized, strengthened and relaxed.
Not only with yoga and meditation, you are invited to rejuvenate spending time at some of the most beautiful beaches of the island, participate in painting classes by a local retreat host and painter and making boat excursions or hikings.

Accommodation and Food:
The retreat center consists of two houses with seven apartments:
5 two-bedroom apartments and
2 one-bedroom studio apartments.
All apartments include a living area, fully-equipped kitchen, a bathroom, a private veranda and a separate entrance. Bedding and towels in all apartments are made from high quality cotton. WiFi is included.
Food is prepared by a local Croatian chef Sanjica, wholesome mediterranean vegetarian and vegan kitchen, eventually with local fish as well, payin attention to special diets and food allergies. Each apartment has a functional kitchen for the meals in between or you can taste the renowned local cuisine on your afternoon outings.
Most of the meals in the retreat center are served outdoors in a covered dining area in the garden.
Yoga during the week:
Yoga classes are geared to Iyengar Levels II and up, but all levels are welcome. It is your choice to participate in as much or as little of the scheduled activities in the program. We start the morning with meditation, followed by an energizing yoga class and a hearty breakfast. Each afternoon you will have ample time for relaxation or adventure. In the late afternoon, there will be a rejuvenating restorative yoga class with a deep pranayama practice followed by a Yoga Sutra Study discussion. Evenings will end with a peaceful meditation before going to sleep.
Eileen Muir – Many years of living yoga as a path inspires Eileen to share the fruits of her practice and to help others make effective changes in their lives to reduce pain and suffering. A native of Scotland, Eileen brings a lively Celtic spirit, humour and joy to her teachings and brings that vitality, precision and clarity to each student. She began her yoga training at an early age in Edinburgh, and her studies led her to India, China and Japan. She has been devoted to meditation and studying the Iyengar method since 1983. In addition to being a Yoga Alliance 500-hr. certified teacher trainer, Eileen is also an IAYT certified yoga therapist and an AOBTA certified instructor, practitioner and leader of Shiatsu trainings. As the founder and former director of Karuna Yoga (Northampton, MA), she has been leading teacher trainings for more than 20 years and has certified hundred of teachers. In 2018 she moved to Asturias, Spain to establish Karuna Center for Yoga and Healing Arts in Spain.
