June Holiday in Rovinj with Yoga & Sport

This is a place for people who are interested in yoga and sport, nature, community and discovering individual strengths. Yoga classes and lectures on Five Elements Yoga await you in the early mornings and the rest of the day sports activities such as kayaking, windsurfing, stand up paddle boarding, hiking and cycling.

Accommodation and Food:

Rooms and apartments are available in the retreat house, which is located in a quiet part of one of the most beautiful Istrian towns, Rovinj, only 2 km from the city centre and the famous Old town. The rooms are mostly suitable for two persons, but it is possible to book as a single room or fully equipped apartments with a kitchen and private balcony for 2-3 persons. All the wooden furniture like beds, cupboards, benches, tables, yoga floor of the outdoor shala is made by hand.
Delicious, locally sourced, organic vegetarian-vegan meals are your inspiration and energy support for the day. It consists of the daily brunch and three dinners wich are included in the price for a 7-days retreat.

Yoga and Sport during the Retreat:

The day starts with outdoor yoga in the backyard, sometimes on the beach and deep breathing in the salty air surrounded by pine trees. It goes on with inspiring and interactive morning talks about the wisdom of the Five Elements. Each day is a different style of yoga, deepening the knowledge of the Five Elements.
Thoughtfully designed sport adventure program include at least five adventure excursions (according to weather conditions).
Biking / Kayaking – Cycling along the coast through the parks and landscapes into charming natural beauties to the beach, where it will be continued with kayaks. Exploring the waters around the Rovinj archipelago and stopping by the gorgeous island far from the crowds. 
SUP – Stand up paddling – a fun challenge invitation on sunset.
Windsurfing lessons – all equipment is provided and you´ll be learning with experienced instructors (Marin is one of them). No previous windsurfing experience needed. If you prefer you can also choose to do SUP (stand up paddling), swim or just relax on the beach.
Biking – in the low season – drive to Central Istria (first with a car) then bike, crossing abandoned tunnels and bridges from an old railway trail, visiting gorgeous Grožnjan town, eating local truffles in Motovun – the medieval town worth to visit by itself.
Hiking and cave exploring – hike and grapple to a secret and real yogic cave where one saint was living 1000 years ago. The story is the inspiring basis of the retreat. The hike is short but intense (medium inclination) with plenty of time to relax on the very remote beach, swim, and meditate in the cave. 



Marin Vayu – Co-founder of the retreat center, yoga teacher of the 5 Elements, sports activities guide and meditation teacher. He wrote a book about the Five Elements Yoga, which was also translated into English.

Natali Podner – Co-founder of the retreat center, Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga teacher. During retreats she also offers Thai massages.
