Nature Explorer Program blends the daily Yoga Sadhana with a daily soft-adventure in inspiring locations of Hvar island. The soft-adventure activities include a mix of hiking and cycling, and, in summer, a snorkeling adventure. The itinerary is adjusted to weather conditions and skill level of the participants. There will be a mid-week moonlight meditation, and sunset meditation on the final day, plus plenty of free time each day for you to rest and recharge. This program is dedicated to taking time-out to move your body and re-connect with yourself and the temple of nature through a variety of soft-adventure experiences that are supported by a mindful and motivational daily yoga sadhana and a series of evening meditation sessions.

In the retreat house existing since 2004 as a pioneer of yoga retreats in Croatia, you can book cosy private rooms with shared or en-suite bathrooms and a private cottage for 2-4 persons.
Fresh prepared vegetarian-vegan brunch and dinner is provided daily.
Monday – Hike through the ancient hills and valleys of Dol to Stari Grad, Croatia’s oldest town dating back 2500 years, and witness remnants of Illyrian, Greek, and Roman history, frozen in time (4 km. tour lasting 60-90 minutes). Enjoy free time in Stari Grad with its „laganini“ easy-breezy lifestyle, punctuated by busy cafes, quiet museums, a handful of artisan and boutique shops, and a plethora of nearby coves and bays, where you can enjoy some quiet time before heading back to Dol by transfer. Enjoy dinner in the garden and a Satsang and meditation on the „6-senses“ on the outdoor yoga terrace.
Tuesday – Cycle from Stari Grad through the UNESCO-protected Stari Grad Plain, a colonized Ionian Greek farming landscape that has remained nearly untouched since the 4th century BC. At the end of the plain, the group will visit Vrboska Town, an adorable settlement known as the island’s „Little Venice“ with several footbridges and an impressive fortress. After Vrboska, you´ll visit the coastline to Soline Beach Resort, where you can find your own little slice of paradise along its wonderful peninsula, known for its child-friendly pebble beach, fantastically fun aqua park, and secluded naturist coves on its north side (20 km. round trip). Enjoy a dip in the crystal clear waters, before cycling back to Stari Grad, from where you will be driven back to the retreat in time for dinner and an early night in.
Wednesday – Group pick: Hike to an abandoned settlement frozen in time, an ancient Illyrian watchtower, a cyclopean cave with a hidden monastery, or other „secret locations“ on the island… under the expert guidance of your island host, Stipe, you will find yourself transported back in time into the ancient island lifestyle, customs and culture (expect a 4-8 km. hike, depending on the trip chosen). After the journey, you will be dropped off in a nearby town or seaside village, where you can spend some free time before heading back to the retreat for dinner – OR – (in summer) Enjoy a 90-minute guided snorkeling experience in a crystal clear bay with active sea life. After the adventure is complete, you can laze your day away on a lovely pebble beach and later enjoy a drink/snack in a beachfront restaurant. Or, if you prefer to keep active, you can explore the footpaths that lead through the pinewood forest from one little hidden cove to the next. In the late afternoon, you’ll be taken on a stop-and-go driving tour through the ancient Lavender Villages and highlands before returning to the retreat for dinner and a moonlight meditation.
Thursday: Visit again the popular Soline Resort to collect bikes and cycle along the pine-forested coastline through Vrboska Town to Jelsa Town. There´ll be a stop for a scoop of the island’s most famous gelato before heading off toward Jelsa’s well-renowned sandy-bottomed coves, where you can swim and relax before returning the bike to Soline (18 km. round trip). Return by transfer service to the retreat.
Friday – Enjoy a free day in the world-famous Hvar Town, a living museum with an incredibly clean and stunning natural surroundings. Here you can create your own itinerary: explore the fortress, visit cultural sights such as the monastery, the agave lace exhibit, or „Arsenal“ Europe’s oldest indoor theater, or window-shop all many artisan shops and art galleries or just stroll along the coastline to find your own little slice of heaven… Continue your Nature Explorer journey by hopping on a taxi boat to the neighboring Pakelni Islands, where you can explore naturist coves, boho-chic cafes and restaurants, or relish in a massage by the sea in the shade… The group will meet 90-minutes before sunset and enjoy a safari tour with stunning views, and pause at the pinnacle for a glorious sunset meditation.
*On this day there will be the option to dine out for dinner pre- or post-sunset, according to the time of year, in which case a packed lunch will be provided instead of dinner.
